How long have you been in business?
We have been in business for 26 years. I started in the basement of our home with a small shop. After two years, we move to the location we are at today. We offer 7 shops and 40,000 sq. ft. of shopping pleasure!
What is your primary product or service?
We offer products for your home and garden, personal (bath, body, clothing and ladies accessories). A wonderful Deli that serves lunches daily! Our own wood shop is still the heart of our business and the reason we opened a retail store. We have something for everyone in a country atmosphere.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My background is....Hard worker, responsible and alot of common sense!! I was a crafter/woodworker and sold wholesale to local stores. I wanted to meet my customers, decorate and do displays. I opened a shop in the basement of my home, but quickly out grew it. That is when we started our field of dreams!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We can not be compared to any other shop or retail stores. We differ in many was.... Our buildings are dated back as far as 1899. We relocated a school, barns, out buildings, train and depot, caboose, etc. to make our own town like village. We are a CHRISTian business and our atmosphere portrays it. Our products and services are like no other shop that I've experienced. We also have our own woodshop. We custom make special order pieces and our our showrooms are filled with furnitre that is made by our very own craftsmen. You would have to visit our Village yourself to see and feel what I do.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location with 7 shops. We have a master plan to expand when the economy stabilizes.

From I-75 in Saginaw, Michigan take exit 149A. This is Holland Rd. (M46), go 3.5 miles east towards Frankenmuth. We are located on the north side of the rd. on the corner of Holland and Portsmouth Rd.

Sunday 11-5
Christmas hours are the same with the exception of Sunday.
