The Saginaw Art Museum was established in 1946-47 when the two daughters of lumber baron, Clark L. Ring, donated their former family home and gardens as the site for Saginaw’s first museum. 2005 saw the completion of two new wings totalling in 16,000 additional square feet of exhibition and education space. The museum provides Art for All through exhibition, education, collection and preservation to 25,000 visitors annually.
